CBM is a self-reliant academic institution that has been offering quality management education since 1997. It is affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB) for its +2 programs and Tribhuvan University for its bachelor's and master's degree programs. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) also recognizes CBM for its CAP-level accountancy courses.

The college operates on a vision it calls LEG — Learning, Experiencing, and Growing. This is not just a catchy tagline; it reflects the core belief that a student's time at CBM should be transformative, not just transactional. Students here are encouraged to think critically, engage with the business world, and develop the kind of character that makes them valuable both professionally and socially.
