ED-MARK Academy was founded in 1999 A.D., with its college division established in 2007 A.D., making it one of the pioneering educational institutions in the Kalanki area of Kathmandu. The academy was set up by a group of experienced academicians who wanted to build an institution that pairs disciplined, high quality teaching with practical, career ready learning a combination that has kept the institution running for over two decades.

ED-MARK is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU), which means students can pursue a bachelor's degree and continue on to a master's degree without leaving the institution a continuity that many families weighing long term academic planning find appealing.

The academy is led by Founder Chairperson Mr. Purushottam Prasad Adhikari and Principal/Director Mr. Shiva Prasad Adhikari, supported by a leadership team of directors including Prakash Lamsal (Vice Principal), Deepak Adhikari, Bal Ram Gaire, and Madhav Prasad Upreti.
